Eligibility Criteria:- Candidates who have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics or Diploma in Pharmacy (For lateral entry in Second year)  with 60% marks from any recognized Technical Board.

Course Structure:- This course is a 4 year degree programme specially designed by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University for those who are eager to acquire professional skill in the field of pharmaceutical education.

As per the present curriculums in India, a B.Pharma degree mainly prepares the candidates to work in the pharmaceutical industry. The programme has been designed to integrate the teaching of basic science along with the practice of pharmacy. The course emphasizes the importance of theoretical study, laboratory experiments and also interdisciplinary communication and research. 

One can enroll for masters as well as Ph.D. in desired field of study after obtaining B.Pharma degree in India. Learning opportunities for higher studies exist in both the practice as well as research streams.


COURSE OF STUDY

The course of study for B. Pharm shall include Semester Wise Theory & Practical as given in Table – I to VIII. The number of hours to be devoted to each theory, tutorial and practical course in any semester shall not be less than that shown in Table – I to VIII.
