About the Course:
D.Pharm is a foundational course designed to provide essential knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy. It prepares students to work as registered pharmacists in hospitals, retail pharmacies and healthcare facilities. The curriculum includes pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacotherapeutics, drug formulation and hospital pharmacy practices.
Eligibility:
- 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics)with above or minimum 50% marks.
Career Opportunities After D.Pharm
D.Pharm graduates are qualified to work as registered pharmacists in both private and government sectors. They can establish and manage retail pharmacies or work in hospital dispensaries, community health centers, and drug stores. There are also opportunities in medical representative roles, drug manufacturing units and clinical pharmacies.
With experience, they may explore pharmaceutical sales, quality control, or further studies such as B.Pharm to expand their career options.
